This website, ghassen-oueslati.com, is operated by Ghassen Oueslati, a photographer, Director of Photography and creative consultant based in Doha, Qatar, offering fashion, editorial, commercial, interior, food, event and documentary photography as well as brand film and video production.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ghassen Oueslati and the studio. “You” refers to visitors to this website, people who contact us, and our clients and collaborators. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

• Quote and inquiry requests: your name, email address, business or organization, budget range, project brief and any comments you choose to share through our Request a Quote form.
• Direct communication: details you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media messages, such as your contact details, project dates, locations and references.
• Client projects: billing contacts, invoicing details, shoot schedules, briefs, mood boards and any material you provide for a commission.
• Comments: if you comment on our journal, the name, email and comment you submit.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, time on page, referring website, approximate location (city or country), device type and browser, collected through Google Analytics.
• Technical data: IP address and standard server logs used to keep the website secure and running properly.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as health data, government ID numbers or payment card details through the website.

We process personal information in line with the State of Qatar’s Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy. Where visitors are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also respect the principles of the GDPR.

Photography, film & images of people

Images are at the heart of our work, so we treat the people in them with care.

• Portfolio use: work shown on this website and our social channels is published with the agreement of our clients and, where people are identifiable, with appropriate model or talent releases.
• Client confidentiality: unreleased campaigns, private events and confidential projects are never published without written approval.
• Events and weddings: images of guests are delivered to the client who commissioned them. We only feature them publicly with consent.
• Removal requests: if you appear in an image on this website and would like it removed, contact us and we will review and act on your request promptly.

All images on this website are protected by copyright and remain the property of Ghassen Oueslati unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We work with clients across the Gulf, Europe and beyond, and some of our service providers store data outside Qatar. When information is transferred internationally, we rely on providers with recognised security standards and contractual safeguards to protect it.

Data retention

• Inquiries that do not lead to a project: kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client and project records: kept for as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
• Analytics data: kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings, a maximum of 14 months.
• Project files and images: archived according to the terms agreed with each client.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to our systems is restricted and password protected, and software is kept up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. When minors take part in a shoot, we work only with the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian.
